Great Marlow School
Sir Steve Redgrave is acknowledged as being our greatest Olympian, if not the world’s greatest, but he had start somewhere and that was at school. Sir Steve attended Great Marlow School, which has just undergone a large refurbishment project.
Bonwyke were asked to project manage the internal visuals for the key areas of the school and develop a theme built around their extraordinary ex-pupil and the Olympics’ history. Bonwyke engaged the services of a design studio, Design Image, to concentrate on producing first class original design ideas.
Involving the School….
The design team engaged fully with Linton Nash the school’s Principal to gain ideas and the type of content required. History played a large part in those ideas as well as recognising Sir Steve Redgrave’s enormous successes.
Once the designs were agreed Bonwyke’s Graphics team worked on producing the images to a useable product. Bonwyke’s own proLAM wall vinyl was chosen for the project for its durability, vitalising ink colours and matt finish.
“All of the teams involved have performed superbly, without exception, to create a great look for the school” commented Linton. “Both Design Image and Bonwyke’s design and production teams have really enjoyed being able to work on such a prestigeous project and it’s great to be associated with such a successful performer as Sir Steve, even in this small way in connection with his former school” said Chris George, Bonwyke’s MD.
