Crowngate Shopping Centre
Interserve PLC posed a question to Bonwyke of how to reduce solar gain from the glass roof of the Crowngate Shopping Centre in Worcester, whilst giving a pleasing aesthetic effect to compliment the rest of the decorations. Bonwyke were able to supply and install a spectrally selective solar protection film, reducing solar gain by 55%, but without reducing the light levels. A series of printed frost images were then applied to the roof to give the decorative effect, whilst keeping the light levels high.
